2008年初我国南方低温冻雨灾害的气候特征
Study on Climate Character of Early 2008 's Low Temperature and Freezing Rain Disaster in Southern China

Abstract
According to the time and region of the low temperature and freezing rain disaster happened in Southern China in early 2008, the surface temperature anomaly index (STAI) was defined. It was found that there were close correlations between STAI and hgt anomalies in Eurasia, as well as in the Western Pacific. In the middle layer the dominant correlation area happened at mid-latitude, while in the lower layer happened at high-latitude. In typical cold (warm) year: (1) the distribution of the hgt anomalies in Eurasia has a type of northern positive and southern negative' (' southern positive and northern negative') ; (2) the WPSH is weak (strong) ; (3) the vapor mainly comes from the Bay of Bengal (South China Sea). In early 2008, the background general circulation of STAI has both character of typical cold year: hgt anomalies in Eurasia is northern positive and southern negative' , and character of typical warm year:the WPSH is significantly enhanced, and the vapor comes from both the Bay of Bengal and South China Sea.关键词
