Development of Transgenic Cassava Plants Using AGPase Gene Transformation
摘要
Abstract
AGPase gene functioning to increase starch content under the control of root tuberous specific expression promoter (Sporamin)was successful introduction into cassava SC8 genome by Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. 25 transgenic cassava plants were obtained, and the transformation frequency was 1.20%. 19 of 25 transf(rmed plants can root in rooting resistance medium; PCR and Southern blot analysis showed that AGPase gene was integrated into the genome of 19 transgenic cassava plants.关键词
