Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for the treatment of cervical cancer stage Ⅰb2 ~Ⅱb. Methods The data of 89 cases of cervical cancer who received surgery during July of 2007 and June of 2011 were analyzed retrospectively. These patients were divided into two groups, 62 cases received both neoadjuvant chemotherapy and surgery and another 27 cases received only surgery. The clinical and pathology factors were compared between these two groups before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy and surgery. Results There were 11 cases (17.7% ) had CR, 41 cases (66. 1% ) had PR, 9 cases stable in neoadjuvant chemotherapy group, 1 case had progress. The effective rate was 83. 8%. The neoadjuvant chemotherapy group had less bleeding and positive nodes compared with surgery group(P<0.05). Conclusion Neoadjuvant chemotherapy for stage Ⅰb2 ~Ⅱb cervical cancer can decrease the tumor volume, soften the parametrium and decrease the nodes metastasis.关键词
