Correlation of gout with lipid metabolic disorder and obesity
摘要
Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinical and biochemical characteristics of male cases with familial and sporadic gout treated in gout clinical medical center of Shan Dong province from 2008 to 2011 retrospectively for further studying the relationship between gout, lipid metabolic disorder and obesity. Methods The clinical and biochemical characteristics (age, height, weight, BMI, waist circumference, hip circumference, WHR, triglyceride, cholesterol, serum uric acid) of 354 male first-visit cases with familial gout, 1 347 male first-visit cases with sporadic gout, were compared and analyzed. The re-visit patients received regular recheck-up and were treated regularly in gout clinical medical center 6 months and 1 year after first diagnosed. Results Overweight and obesity, abdominal obesity, triglyceride elevation, cholesterol elevation , hyperuricemia were all related with gout. The difference of above indexes between the patients of these two groups had no statistical significance, except abdominal obesity. When treated with lipanthyl for 6 months and 1 year, the difference of triglyceride, cholesterol, serum uric acid between all the patients of these two groups had statistical significance (P < 0.05) as compared with those before treatment. The therapeutic effects became more and more obvious as the time was getting longer. Compared with the effect of lipanthy' s decreasing cholesterol, the difference of lipanthy' s decreasing triglyceride was more significant in male patients with sporadic gout. Conclusion No matter the cases with familial gout or with sporadic gout, all the patients were inclined to complicate with obesity or lipid metabolic disorder. So at the same time of treating gout, we should also pay attention to the change of blood lipid.关键词
