Abstract

Taking E-MA-GMA as compatibilizer, the PA6/LLDPE blends were prepared by melt blending through twin-screw extruder. The degraded polyethylene (DPE) was added into the blends to improve the viscosity of LLDPE. The results show that the addition of 10 phr E-MA-GMA can decrease the particle size of dispersion phase in PA6/LLDPE(80/20) blends effectively; when LLDPE/DPE=19/1. The complex viscosity and storage modulus of the blends are up to the maximum values; the addition of DPE has no obvious effect on the tensile property of the blends, but decreases the notched impact strength.
