Comparison of inflammatory index in patients with dementias
摘要
Abstract
Objective To study the change characteristics of inflammatory index in patients with dementias. Methods C-reactive protein (CRP) , numeration of leukocyte and percentage of neutrophil were measured in 46 patients with alzheimer disease (AD) , 34 patients with vascular dementia (VD) , 39 patients with parkinsonism dementia(PDD) and 35 normal persons,respectively. For all data, statistical analysis was performed by covariance analysis in SPSS for Windows. Results Numeration of leukocyte in the group of AD was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05) , percentage of neutrophil in the group of AD,VD and PDD were also significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.01, P < 0.05, P < 0.05, respectively). CRP levels in the group of AD, VD and PDD were slightly higher than that in the control group, but showed no significant difference. Conclusions Chronic inflammatory reaction may play a role in the developing courses of patients with AD, VD and PDD.关键词
