Abstract

A series of Rh-Mn-Fe-Li/SiO2 catalysts calcined at different temperatures were prepared and characterized by XRD, N2 adsorption-desorption, hydro-oxygen titration and TPR, and their catalytic behaviors for hydrogenation of carbon monoxide to C2-oxygenates were investigated. The results showed that calcining procedure greatly changed the interaction between Rh and the promoters' atoms and finally influenced the activity and selectivity of the catalysts. The catalyst calcined at 823 K had the highest activity. Over this catalyst, a conversion of carbon monoxide of 19.4% with the selectivity to C2-oxygenates of 59.9% was obtaind, and the space time yield was up to 749.9g.kg-1.h-1.
