摘要

Abstract

Waterflooding areal sweep efficiency is critical to reservoir recovery factor. This paper studies the correction method of areal sweep efficiency for waterflooding reservoirs with complex boundary by taking the complicated minor fault block reservoirs in Jiangsu oilfield as examples. A 3D 2 - phase black oil simulator is employed to conduct numerical simulation with different reservoir boundaries and well patterns, thus calculated the correction factors of complex reservoir boundaries such as narrow and striped reservoirs. Corresponding correction factors can be selected according to the type of a narrow fault block or the width of oil zone of a striped fault block, thus correcting areal sweep efficiency and adjusting development policy.
