摘要

Abstract

To realize both injection and production in the same oil wells with high watercut, the multi - cup uniform flux oil - water separator was designed based on the principle of the multi - cup uniform flux gas anchor. During the design process, the number and size of openings of the separator were gradually increased layer by layer from top to bottom with almost the equal amount of fluids entering each opening and enough time for the produced fluids to stay inside the separator. Through optimal combining different ways of segmentation with the number and size of the openings and considering the machining requirements, the size, grading and number of the openings were optimally designed based on hydrodynamics. On the condition of allowing the produced fluids to stay inside the settling cups for over 150s, the functions of the settling cups were brought into full play, effectively reducing the length of the down-hole oil - water separator and saving both production and operation costs.
