Abstract
The characteristics and application advantages of coated slow-release fertilizers are reviewed. The research and development of coated slow release agent, also the release behavior and evaluation of slow release fertilizer are summarized. Research advances are stated; then the research, development and problems existing in application of slow-release fertilizers in China are analyzed.
