An Adaptive Transmission Scheme of SC-FDMA Based on Channel Estimation

Abstract
SC-FDMA is used in uplink of 3GPP LTE because its PAPR is lower than OFDMA. It analyses the mathematical model of SC FDMA transmission system,and introduces the Least-Square (LS) and Linear Minimum Mean-Square Error(LMMSE) channel estimation algorithm based on pilot with SC-FDMA system. Moreover,based on a comparison of the transmission performance between two subcarrier mapping methods of this system in different mobile environment, an adaptive transmission scheme based on channel estimation of SC-FDMA system is proposed. The simulation results show that the scheme' s performance is better than the method which uses a single subcarrier mapping. In the same BER situation, the proposed scheme can save about 3dB SNR.关键词
