摘要

Abstract

Optical vector-matrix multiplier (OVMM) can be applied in a variety of fields. The principle of Goodman' s OVMM is introduced and the optical circuit sets up on that principle has some flaws. On that a new method of "using liquid crystal array" to complete VMM is proposed. The principle of this method is explained in detail and use a novel ternary logic optical processor which has been developed in the lab in 2007 as the core experiment equipment. Experiments prove this method which has the ability of large parallel processing to be correct.
