Design and research on a high permittivity circularly polarized GPS micro-strip antenna

摘要

Abstract

An improved circularly polarized micro-strip antenna is proposed. A kind of high permittivity sintered microwave material was used as the antenna s dielectric substrate, the proposed antenna was fed by a single spot with SMA coaxial connector. The antenna is much smaller, and the structure is simple. Simulation analysis shows that the antenna has nice s(1, 1) bandwidth and axial-ratio bandwidth. At last, the impact of thickness and loss tangent of dielectric substrate on the antenna are investigated.
