摘要

Abstract

The common method for digital signal processing is discrete Fourier transform (DFT). However, there is a certain error for spectrum analysis due to truncation of time field signal by window function. There are different effects for signal spectrum with different window functions. Comparison and suitability analysis for the characteristics of five common window functions are provided. Appropriate window function should be chosen based on the feature of signal and requirement of processing and goals to reduce the influence of spectrum leakage and fence effect to signal analysis. The conclusion is proved by simulation results.
