Occurrence and Control of Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus (TYLCV) Disease in Xinjiang
摘要
Abstract
[ Objective ] Virus disease was a destructive disease which can cause heavy losses to crops. Tomato virus disease broke out in facilities tomatoes (tomatoes in greenhouses) in Kashgar, Xinjiang in 2011. This project collected disease samples, identified virus and investigated the situation in which the harm had done. [Result]It has been identified by experts that the pathogenic viruses for tomato was caused by tomato yellow leaf curl virus, which can parasitize in such plants as tomato, capsicum, eggplant, stramonium, abutilon and solanum nigrum. The planting tomato incidence from August 20 to September 25 was 50% -100% , tomato planted before the mid - August had individual diseased plants, and the planting tomato incidence after early October was 6% -40% . [Conclusion]It has been proved that the disease that happened in Shache, Kashgar, Xinjiang was caused by tomato yellow leaf curl virus.关键词
