2008年澎湖海域寒害事件的EOF分析
The EOF Analysis of Cold Disaster at Pescadores in 2008
摘要
Abstract
In early February 2008, the exceptional cold water of Zhemin coastal current intruded into Pescadores in the Taiwan Strait,destroyed aquaculture there. In this paper two pathways of Chinese coastal current were summarized firstly. The sea surface temperature of NGSST, surface current from numerical model and wind from Mercator project were analyzed with use of EOF and VEOF secondly. At last the reason of cold water intrusion is proposed:driven by continuous strong northeast monsoon, the cold water from the intense Chinese coastal current can transport southward to Pescadores directly.关键词
