An EOQ Model when the Time of Delay in Payments Correlated with Order Quantity

Abstract
An inventory model is developed for the case where the time of delay in payments is correlated with order quantity and the demand rate is a function of the retail price. From the perspective of retailer, a mathematical model is developed. The objective is to determine the optimal pricing and the optimal replenishment cycle length to minimize the total cost. We provide theoretical analysis of the optimal solutions and develop a simple method for finding the optimal order policy. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the sensitivity of the model, and the changes in the total cost of the retailer are discussed with the changes of some parameters.关键词
