摘要

Abstract

Residual strength of the pipeline is affected by corrosion. Compared with the tensile test of real material, the ANSYS finite element method was validated. Based on ANSYS, the effect of inner corrosion defect size was analyzed. Considering groups of corrosion defects, the adjacent corrosion defects interact. Based on the data of ANSYS simulation, residual strength of the pipeline will decrease as the defect size increase. Considering the axial and circumferential distance of adjacent corrosion defects within a certain range, the interaction of adjacent corrosion defects will decrease as the distance increase. Based on the interaction of adjacent corrosion defects, the assessment of groups of corrosion defects was studied. In order to make the assessment easy, the customized software of ANSYS was developed for single corrosion and complex corrosion.
