Abstract
Objective To evaluate the expression of BCSG1, c-erbB-2, VEGF in human breast carcinoma and the relationship with clinical-pathological features. Methods By immunohistochemical S-P method, the expressions of BCSG1, c-erbB-2 and VEGF were examined in 316 breast cancer specimens, the correlation between these indexes and clinical-pathologi cal features were analyzed. Results BCSG1 and VEGF positive rate were 67. 1% and 61. 0% . The expression of BCSG1 and VEGF were both positively correlated with histological grade, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage( r = 0. 152, r = 0.510, r =0.460 andr =0. 166, r =0. 142, r =0. 142, P <0. 05, P < 0. 01 ), and both independence with ER, PR, tumor size, menstruation, pathology type( P > 0. 05 ). C-erbB-2 positive rate was 32. 2% , the expression of c-erbB-2 was positively correlated with tumor size, histological grade, lymph node metastasis and clinical stages ( r =0. 173, r =0. 157, r = 0.365, r =0.306, P <0.01 ), but negatively correlated with ER, PR expressions ( r = -0. 149, r = -0. 154, P < 0.05 ), and independence with menstruation and pathology type ( P >0. 05 ). The co-expression of these three proteins positively correlated with lymph node metastasis, clinical stages and histological grade,( r =0.457, r =0.377, r =0.228, P < 0.05 ). The expression of BCSG1, c-erbB-2 and VEGF were all positively correlated with each other( P <0. 01 ). Conclusion The expression of BCSG1, c erbB 2 and VEGF were correlated with carcinogenesis of breast cancer nd development. The high co-expression of the three proteins predicts strong aggression and metastasis ability.关键词
