摘要

Abstract

In order to investigate the qualitative or quantitative differences of proteins during phase change in apple (Malus domestica Borkh. ) hybrid seedling (Jonathan x Golden Delicious), comparisons of protein composition between juvenile and adult tissues of apple were made by two-dimensional e-lectrophoresis (2-DE) technology. The results showed that the examination of 2-DE maps derived from leaves revealed the presence of protein spots displaying a differential expression. Among these proteins, a total of 23 differentially expressed spots were detected in different phases. Out of the 23 spots, 6 proteins were found only in the juvenile leaves and hardly detected in the mature ones, in contrast, 3 spots only detected in the adult tissues. At the same time, 11 proteins were more abundant in the adult leaf tissues than the juvenile leaves and 3 spots were more strongly expressed in the juvenile tissues. So It is indicated that these qualitatively and quantitative proteins might be the phase-related proteins.
