摘要

Abstract

The photocatalytic mechanism of a novel visible light photocatalyst BiVO4 and the methods (metal deposition on the surface, complex of semiconductors, surface sensitization, metal ion doping, and catalyst immobilization) for improving the activity of BiVO4 catalyst were described. The applications of BiVO4 photocatalyst in wastewater treatment as well as indoor environmental control were introduced. The problems existed at present were analyzed and the research directions were also put forward.
