Abstract
The impact of stochastic uncertainty brought about by a grid-connected wind farm penetration on power system small-signal stability was investigated in this paper. An analytical method to carry out the probabilistic analysis was proposed. From the cumulative distribution function of wind speed of the wind farm, the moments and cumulants of the grid-connected wind power generation were calculated. Then the cumulants and central moments of the real-part of the system critical eigenvalues were computed. Finally the cumulative distribution function of real-part of the system critical eigenvalues was reconstructed by using the Gram-Charlier expansion. Thus the small-signal stability of power systems as affected by the grid-connected wind generation was determined.关键词
