Study of Adaptive Adjustment of Operation Characteristics of Distance Backup Protection Immune to the Impact of Power Flow Transferring
摘要
Abstract
The power flow transferring caused by removal of transmission lines and unreasonable actions of distance backup protection may lead to cascading trip incidents, and even blackouts. The limitations of the traditional distance backup protection were analyzed, and a new transmission line distance backup protection that can identify power flow transferring based on wide-area coordination and regulation principle was studied. According to the incorrect actions of distance backup protection caused by power flow transferring, a method was proposed to adaptively adjust the operation characteristics of distance backup protection. The simulation test results by means of PSASP show the transmission line distance backup protection can adaptively adjust the operation characteristics with the aid of the power flow transferring identification system. In this case, the mal-operation caused by power flow transferring can be avoided and the function of backup protection is remained.关键词
