摘要

Abstract

In order to reduce the undesired impacts and damages on the VSC-HVDC system and the connected AC system during the startup procedures, appropriate startup control strategies should be dedicatedly designed. For the VSC-HVDC system supplying power to passive network, a new method based on Laplace transformation is designed for the resistor which is inserted to limit the current and voltage during the DC capacitor charging. In addition, a slope control strategy for smoothing startup is proposed in this paper. Simulation results verify the feasibility of the proposed startup procedures.
