Abstract
[Objective] To explore the transurethral treatment of adult ureteral cyst. [Methods] The data of 24 cases of adult ureteral cyst confirmed by B-ultrasonography, IVU, CT and /or MRU, cystoscopy were performed treatment of ureterocele after using plasma transurethral partial resection (endoscopic group), and the data were retrospectively analyzed and compared with the situation of 12 cases of open surgery (open group). [Results] 24 patients were recovered with no other complications, and postoperative hydronephrosis were reduced, only 1 case of ureteral reflux, 1 case of urinary retention, with no recurrence during an average follow-up of 2 years. Blood loss, operative time, ambulation time and postoperative hospital stay in endoscopic group were significantly reduced compared with those of open group (P <0.01), and reflux complications, infection rate were also significantly reduced (P <0.05). [Conclusion] With the advantages of less difficulty, smaller trauma, quicker recovery, transurethral resection of ureterocele can be the first choice of adult ureterocele treatment.关键词
