Polymorphism of ACE Gene I/D of Atrial Fibrillation Patients in Xinjiang Kazakh and Han Nationality
摘要
Abstract
Objective To discuss the association between ACE gene I/D polymorphism in Xin jiang Kazaks and Hans. Methods Genetic DNA was extracted from 200 primary AF patients including 100 patients from Kazakh and 100 from Han Ethnic group and 200 normal controls including 100 from Kazakh and 100 from Han Ethnic group. The I/D polymorphism of ACE was detected by polymerase chain reaction ( PCR ), and the ACE gene I/D polymorphism of Chymase gene was detected by PCR restriction fragment length polymorphism ( RFLP ). Results There was significant difference between Kazakh AF group and Kazakh control group in ACE gene I/D polymorphism genotype frequency and allele frequency ( P <0. 05 ). There was also significant difference between Han AF group and Han control group in ACE gene I/D polymorphism genotype frequency and allele frequency ( P <0. 05 ). There was significant difference between Kazakh Ethnic and Han Ethnic in ACE gene I/D polymorphic loci ( P <0. 05 ). There was no significant difference between male AF and female AF in ACE gene I/D polymorphism genotype frequency and allele frequency ( P >0. 05 ). Conclusion The I/D polymorphism of ACE gene is associated with the occurrence of AF in Kazakh and Han Ethnic AF population of Xinjiang. Genotype D might be one of the genetic risk factors for AF. There is national difference between Kazakh Ethnic and Han Ethnic in ACE I/D polymorphisic loci.关键词
