Abstract
Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics of cardiac arrest patients in Tanghekou community center and explore the key points in improving the successful recovery rate as well as the prevention and control measures of cardiac arrest. Methods The clinical data of 23 cardiac arrest patients accepted between September 2007 and April 2011 were analyzed retrospectively. Results Among the 23 patients, 1 was an inpatient, to whom the cardio - pulmonary resuscitation was a success and the length of time from onset to rescue was less than 4 minutes; 22 being pre - hospital patients, the length of time from onset to obtaining rescue was 10 ~20 min, 5 patients, ≥20 min, 6 patients, not clear because of no witnesses, 11 patients and all the cardio - pulmonary resuscitation did not succeed. Conclusion The length of time from onset to rescue for cardiac arrest patients is very important, so cardiopulmonary resuscitation should be widely popularized in order to enable the first witness to perform skillfully the high - quality chest compression. At the same time, special attention should be paid to positive prevention and control of the cardiac arrest in high risk population so as to reduce cardiac arrest incidence and improve the success rate of recovery.关键词
