Research Progress on Changes in Physiological Index and Dormancy Control Methods during Garlic Dormancy Period
摘要
Abstract
Garlic (Allium sativum L.) dormancy is a physiological process of garlic bulb mature. The length of dormancy directly affects the commercial features of garlic bulb and garlic germination in cultivation. The paper summarizes the previous studies about changes laws in physiological index during dormancy and methods of breaking and delaying garlic dormancy. It also analyzes the research progress made in studying garlic dormancy mechanism, the existing problems in utilizing garlic bulb dormancy in production and marketing. Before ending, it puts forward orientations for studying garlic bulb dormancy mechanism in the near future.关键词
