摘要

Abstract

The SSR molecular marker technology developed on the basis of PCR has the merits of codominance, high polymorphism, good reproducibility, good stability and simple operation. The fundamental principle and characteristic of SSR molecular marker technology is briefly introduced in this paper, while the emphasis were laid on development of SSR primer, identification of potato varieties, construction of genetic map, mapping of quantitative trait loci and molecular marker-assisted selection. Then, future application of SSR marker in potato was prospected.
