Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of super-low decompressive craniectomy combined with subhypothermiain treatment of severe brain injury.Methods MethodsNinety patients with severe brain injury were randomly divided into 3 groups: ingroup A patients received super-low decompressive craniectomy combined with subhypothermia, in group B patients received super-low decompressive craniectomy and in group C patients received conventional decompressive craniectomy. The pulse index (PI) of the bilateral MCA, jugular bulb blood oxygen saturation(JSO2), values of lactic acid and outcomes after three months were compared among three groups.results ResultsThe values of PI and Jlac in group A were significantly lower and the values ofJSO2 were significantly higher than those in group B and group C(all P<0.05). The recovery rates of patients after 3 months in groups A, B and C were 76.7%, 70.0% and 60.0%, respectively! P >0.05).concluslon Super-low decompressive craniectomycombined with subhypothermia can improve the brain ischemia in patients with severe brain injury.关键词
