摘要
Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of breviscapine on cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity in mice and possible mechanisms. Methods Renal injury were induced by a single injection of cisplatin(8mg/kg I. P), then the mice were given different doses of breviscapine (I. G) once a day for seven days. . Serum BUN and Scr levels and activities of SOD and MDA in kidney cortex homogenate were determined. Results The pathological analysis indicated that renal structure was significantly improved by breviscapine. Both BUN and Scr were significantly decreased in serum(P<0. 05). MDA of kidney cortex was inhibited (P< 0. 01) .contrastly the activity of SOD increased in kidney tissue(P<0. 05). Conclusion Breviscapine could reduce nephrotoxicity from cisplatin through inhibition of lipid peroxidation in the blood and reno-cortical tissue.关键词
