Abstract

The property of middle-low grade phosphate rock from southwest of China was analyzed, and the reverse flotation with high efficiency mineral processing equipment and cyclonic-static micro-bubble flotation column was researched. The effects of several parameters on floatation efficiency, namely, the feed capacity, pressure of circulating pump, amount of aeration, and the dosage of collector, sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid were systemically investigated, and the optimal technical and operational conditions were determined. Based on these results, continuous separation tests were carried out. The results show that the phosphate concentrate containing P2O5 30.01% and recovery rate of 89.10% can be achieved according to the flow sheet of one rougher and one cleaner under the optimal conditions. The technology provides a new way for the separation of China's phosphate rock with a high quality.
