Simulation and Analysis on Low Voltage Ride Through of Doubly-Fed Induction Generator Wind Power Generation System Based on Crowbar Circuit

Abstract
With the growing proportion of China' s wind power installed capacity, the security and reliability of the wind power system operation could not be ignored. Firstly, the operating principle of the doubly fed induction generation system was analyzed. The use of vector control technology achieved the maximum power tracking control and power decoupling control. Secondly, the crowbar circuit was used to achieve the low voltage ride through when a large value drops in the grid voltage. Modeling and simulation was made to verify the feasibility of the crowbar circuit ' s with MATLAB / Simulink. The crowbar circuit performance with different removal time and it in different systems with different power levels was discussed.关键词
