摘要

Abstract

The production technology of automobile braking hub, namely bi-metal (steel, gray cast iron) composite casting, was presented. The interface of the two metals in the brake hub casting is metallurgical bonding, in which two metals penetrate each other and there is no defect such as crack, blowhole, inclusion and microshrinkage. Thickness of steel plate fixed with the wheel is only 3 mm, which can reduce the braking hub's mass and greatly increase the truck's safety and service life.
