摘要

Abstract

The whole framework of the expert system is based on the database technology and modularization design method. By using of the knowledge representation methods of production rules, an knowledge base was established which consisted of a number of related data, expert experience knowledge and criteria concerning the materials selection and design. The framework of the expert system was set up by using of the language programming method. An advanced material selection and design expert system for hotworking die-casting die was developed, which can realize the functions of information storage, rapid inquiry and experts recommendation, etc. This provides the basis and guidance for the production process design of die.
