摘要

Abstract

The solidification process of ductile hub casting was simulated with the software of HuaZhu CAE. The foundry process was optimized by simulation and experiment. The shrinkage and porosity of the ductile hub casting were effectively eliminated. Therefore it is indicated that foundry CAE technology can be applied to evaluate, improve the casting process by forecasting casting defects. The simulation results agree well with the trial-production results.
