Abstract
The grey related degree analysis was employed to study the effect of ear characters on yield per plant of 5 tropical maize germplasm. The study indicated that the grey related degree between the 100-kernels weight and yield per plant of T9904 was higher, so 100-kernel weight was the main contributing factor to T9904 yield per plant.Differently the grey related degree between the row number of ear and yield per plant of T9907, T9925 ,T9945 and T9963 was higher,so the row number of ear was the main affecting factor to yield per plant.The contribution of the 100-kernels weight and the row number of ear to yield per plant was basically same in T9904 and T9945关键词
