分析了农作物育种科技查新工作的特点；结合30多年的查新工作,总结出了一套农作物育种科技查新的实用方法,有效地提高了科技查新工作质量;最后探讨了科技查新对农作物育种的积极作用,对推进四川省农作物育种攻关意义重大,并指出农业科技情报查新是农作物育种创新的武器和手段.
