摘要

Abstract

[ Objective ] The research aimed to clarify the roles of mixed inoculation of earthworm and plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria ( PGPR) on the growth of vegetables. [ Method ] A serials of pot trials were conducted to investigate the single, dual or triple inoculation of earthworms or PGPR, including nitrogen-fixing bacteria ( NFB) ( Azotobacter chroococcum PDSN-5) and potassium-solubilizing bacteria (KSB) (Bacillus mucilaginous PDSK-1) , on the growth of Chinese kale (Brassica juncea) and on uptake of N and K in the plant. [ Result] All of the seven inoculation treatments apparently increased the shoot growth of B. Juncea. The highest shoot biomass was recorded in the triple inoculation of earthworm, NFB and KSB. All of the seven inoculation treatments significantly increased N uptake in shoot of B. Juncea. [ Conclusion ] The triple inoculation may be a promising approach for reducing the need for chemical fertilizers in growing vegetables.
