摘要

Abstract

The uptake and assimilation pathway of sulfate in microorganism were reviewed. Several key enzymes including ATP sulfurylase.APS reductase,sulfite reductase.and cysteine synthase were introduced with respect to their properties and research progress. The relationship between sulfate assimilation pathway and heavy metal resistance was elaborated, and the genes expression pattern relevant to the sulfate assimilation pathway in the presence of heavy metals was summarized.
