摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between the tight junction proteins·( occludin, ZO-1 ) expression and clinicopathologic parameters in human esophageal squamous cell carcinoma ( ESCC ). Methods The proteins expression of occludin and ZO -4 in human esophageal cancer tissues and their corresponding normal mucosa were detected by tissue microarray and immunohistochemical techniques . Results Expression level of occludin and ZO-1 decreased significantly in ESCC tissues compared with their adjacent normal esophageal epithelium ( P < 0. 01) Furthermore, the expression of occludin and ZO -1 showed obvious correlation with degree of differentiation of esophageal carcinoma and lymph node metastasis ( P < 0. 05 ) Conclusion Decreased expression of occludin and ZO-1 may play an important role in the carcinogenesis of esophagus .udin关键词
