Expression and clinical significance of Caveolin-1 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression and clinic characteristics of Caveolin 4 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma ( ESCC ). Methods Expression of Caveolin 4 in 65 patients of ESCC and normal esophageal epithe -lial tissue were detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis Results The expression level of Caveolin-1 was significantly higher in ESCC than that in the normal esophageal epithelial tissue (P < 0. 01) , and up-regulation of Caveolin-1 was correlated with differentiation of ESCC It had no relationship with lymph node metastasis or TNM stage. Conclusion The overexpression of Caveolin -1 may play an important role in the progression of human ESCC.关键词
