Abstract
The Bank is a story about the personal identity crisis and self-salvation in the revolutionary period.By describing the fates of KU Wen-xuan and KU Dong-liang,it reveals the butchering of life and serious spiritual crisis due to the ＂revolutionary＂ idea of ultra-Leftists.It ruthlessly satirizes the hypocritical ＂revolutionary romanticism＂ which not only ignores individual indignity but also abets people to abandon the pursuit and adherence to the truth,goodness and beauty.关键词
