Researches on energy efficient routing protocol for large-scale wireless sensor networks
摘要
Abstract
One of the weaknesses which affects network's lifetime is the limit of energy on wireless sensors of networks.How to reduce energy dissipation of nodes and increase the lifetime of network has been a hot topic on routing protocol of wireless sensors networks.Since the two scripture routing protocols of LEACH and PEGASIS have energy shortage in nodes and only apply to small-scale wireless sensors networks,this paper suggest a new hybrid routing algorithm which can use in large-scale wireless sensor networks.This routing algorithm combines LEACH and PEGASIS algorithms.According to the creating clusters by LEACH approach,it chooses more energy nodes as head-cluster,which can make nodes belonging to the same cluster form a chain where nodes communication only with their closest neighbors.So as the energy dissipation within clusters can be minimized.Head-clusters are communicated with effective multi-hop routing protocol based on distance-energy.The simulation experiments show that the new proposed algorithm in this paper prolongs the lifetime of sensor network than LEACH and PEGASIS routing algorithm.关键词
