Water Quality Assessment Based on Improved PCA and Integrated Comprehensive Evaluation Method

Abstract
An improved Principal Component Analysis(PCA) method was proposed for the deficiency of traditional PCA method in processing nonlinear data.Firstly,this method made linearization on the original nonlinear data by logarithm conversion.Then it adopted equalization method to realize non-dimensional treatment and try most to keep the original information in data as well as to make the dimension of data reduced dramatically.Combining entropy method,an integrated comprehensive evaluation method was proposed after improving the comprehensive evaluation function.That is to say,two kinds of comprehensive evaluation values were obtained by using traditional PCA and entropy method respectively followed by the consistency test by Kendall-W.If the two kinds of values pass the coherence test,they would be integrated together for further comprehensive evaluation.Otherwise,system clustering method would be employed for comprehensive evaluation.Finally,these methods mentioned above were applied to the water quality monitoring of a water factory.The experimental results show that the method can reflect the water quality more objectively.关键词
