摘要

Abstract

Analysis of feature parameters plays an important role in gas sensor description, odor classification, gas component identification and quantification,etc. Typical and objective features extracted directly from the gas sensor response curves are analyzed from a statistics point of view. Response curves of a micro-hotplate based gas sensor array to CO,CH4 and NO2 gases with different concentrations are obtained from an automated test system. Objective steady and dynamic features are extracted and analyzed. A feature subset is constructed and verified by a Back-Propagation Neural Network(BPNN). Results show that the BPNN converges faster and reaches higher performance with the feature subset,which demonstrates the selected features are reasonable and informative.
