摘要

Abstract

A system designed and developed with the Silicon Labs C8051F340 micro-processor technology for the purpose of accurate computation of the operating cycles of an in-service aircraft engine is described. The process of acquiring HP and LP RPM signals is introduced in detail. By means of the programmable counter/ timer array technology and computing cycle-based life with software filtering, useless amplitude removal and rain flow counting. This system is reliable and effective in real-time recording of engine operating cycles, preventing loss of useful engine life and providing data for engine life extension.
