Effect of Ru on the Tensile Property in Single Crystal Superalloys

Abstract
In order to investigate the effect of Ru in single crystal superalloys containing rhenium, the tensile property and deformation microstructure were studied by scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope. The results show that with the increasing of ruthenium content, the size of y phase decrease and the cubic degree increase. At 900^0, the yield strength and tensile strength increase slightly,with the increase of Ru additon. The fracture mode is all pure shear mode for these three alloys. The deformation mechanism is the dislocation pair by anti-phase domain. The additions of ruthenium increase the tensile strength slightly, but not change the deformation mechanism and fracture characteristics.关键词
