Abstract
MnOx/AC catalyst was prepared by the reduction of KMnO7 by activated carbon（AC） powder.It was characterized by scanning electron microscopy（SEM）,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）.It was shown that Mn was present in the chemical state of MnO2.And MnOx/AC electrode was obtained by pressure.An electrolytic cell with MnOx/AC cathode and Ti/RuO2 anode was used to treat phenol wastewater.Current density was the main factor among some influence factors.Approximately 99.7% of phenol was removed after electrolysis for 100 min with the optimal parameters of current density of 39mA/cm2,the electrode distance of 3cm,the initial pH value of 6.8,the electrolyte concentration of 0.1mol/L Na2SO4,the initial phenol concentration for 100mg/L.And MnOx/AC electrode had better catalytic activity in degradation of phenol.关键词
