Functional Analysis of Narrative Person in Novels
摘要
Abstract
The function of narrative person plays a guiding role in the revelation and interpretation of underlying meaning of narra- tive works. Based on the framework of systemic functional grammar, the investigation of the function of narrative person was focused on. By analyzing narrative person in some selected works, it is further argued that the narrative person has ideational, interpersonal, textual as well as stylistic functions. It will be helpful for the teaching and appreciation of literary works.关键词
